As part of the Klartext & Durchblick project, slam poet Bas Böttcher and illustrator Christian Ridder from “Business as Visual” are coming to selected schools to explore topics from economics and business together with pupils.

In slam poetry and comic drawings, the project participants explore everything that can be traded and negotiated. Pupils transform economic processes into visual worlds and verbal master plans. Whether it’s the new economy, the value chain or venture capital: complex issues are brought to life using app store stories, sneaker CVs or party failures and transformed into their own comics & cartoons, poetry slam texts and video clips.

The creative perspective on the topic of business is designed to be fun and motivate pupils to develop their own visions and points of view. At the same time, the participants discover ways of presenting, communicating and inspiring with ideas, words and imagery.
