Youth forum for the town twinning conference
“Under the motto “Establishing contacts – initiating projects – strengthening trust: Impetus for German-Russian relations”, the XIV German-Russian City Partner Conference took place in Krasnodar from June 28 to June 30, 2017. Over 600 representatives from German and Russian cities, municipalities, civic organizations and businesses came to the south of Russia to discuss current challenges and prospects in German-Russian municipal cooperation”
“A youth forum was held parallel to the conference. Over 100 young people from 14 Russian and German city partnerships developed project ideas together and learned how to get projects off the ground through fundraising and know-how. They were trained by the experienced trainers and project managers Carolin and Sergey Savchuk, Anja Kretzer and the business illustrator Christian Ridder. The project ideas included, for example, an alumni meeting for participants from German-Russian youth organizations and a German-Russian rock festival.”
