The project

The HRK’s MODUS project aims to further improve recognition and credit transfer practices at universities. This will enable more transparency and flexibility as well as mobility and permeability

The Graphic Recordings

I have already accompanied two events as a graphic recorder.

In 2021, more than 600 participants from universities and other institutions took part in the two-day online kick-off event of the MODUS project. They intensively discussed the status quo and future of recognition and accreditation in various discussion rounds, forums and a barcamp. The keynote speeches, break-out sessions and the results of the barcamp were digitally summarized on two images. The topic of recognition and accreditation was metaphorically expressed through the smooth transfer between different train lines. Participants were able to follow the creation of the image live on my YouTube channel.

In 2024, a live event took place in Hamburg with several workshops on the topic of cooperation between higher education and vocational training. The contents were recorded on post-its and visualized step by step in a large “educational landscape”. I presented the image at the end of the event and edited it into a short explanatory video afterwards.
