Oikocredit, an investment pioneer which promotes sustainable development worldwide, celebrated its 40th anniversary. Together with investors and partners they looked back to the past and ahead to the future: What are the challenges we face in development finance? How can we stay true to our mission in a complex world? How can we continue to promote sustainable development?
Contribution
I visualized Oikocredit’s mission to redistribute some of the world’s wealth to the benefit of disadvantaged people. The „irrigation“ metaphor shows how investments are channeled to micro-finance, agriculture and renewable energy sectors, to fair trade organizations, cooperatives and small to medium enterprises.
